All appointments will be conducted as “distanced” consultations. Barring special circumstances, only Worthington Woods Animal Care Center employees will be physically entering the building.
Please help us keep everyone healthy by doing the following:
🐾Upon arriving at the clinic, please call 614-885-6242 and meet our team member outside your vehicle with your pet secured on a leash and/or in a carrier.
🐾For our canine friends, our team will clip on one of our company leashes and release your personal leash. For our feline friends, please make sure they are safely secured in a carrier. If you do not have a cat carrier, please let us know in advance and we will provide one. All Worthington Woods leashes and carriers are regularly sanitized.
🐾After our team member retrieves your pet, you (pet owner) may return to your vehicle. As needed, throughout the appointment, our technicians and Doctors will communicate with you via phone or if appropriate, the doctor may exit the building and discuss the exam with you. They'll approach your vehicle on the passenger side and maintain social distancing. If you have a smart phone, we welcome facetime or comparable video phone calls, allowing you to virtually “be in the exam room.”
🐾Upon completion of the appointment, one of our team members will return your pet to you near your vehicle. For dogs, our team member will attach your personal leash and release our leash. Please load your pet into your car and return to your vehicle. Our team member will advise you on the next steps with payment or waiting for the doctors or techs to discuss the exam.
🐾To limit the exchange of things by hand, we strongly prefer payment to be made over the phone with a credit card.
🐾If you have a special situation with your pet and/or are uncomfortable with the distanced appointment, please call us in advance of your arrival to discuss. We are here for you and want to make sure your pets receive proper care.
We are offering curbside service for medication refills and food purchases. If you need a refill or food for your pet, please call our office in advance of your visit. Our team will prepare your order and take payment over the phone. Upon arrival for pick up, please call 614-885-6242 and we will bring your purchases to your car.
Thank you for your cooperation, support, and patience during these challenging times!
With ❤️ and thanks,
Dr. Jim Miller and your WWACC Team
